Ron Ho - President and CEO
Ron Ho, President and CEO, has more than 23 years of executive management experience in the medical device industry with an emphasis in product development and operations. His successful track record in the ultrasound business includes tenure with Siemens Medical Solutions in engineering and general management positions. Most recently, Mr. Ho was the President and CEO at Metron Systems located in Snoqualmie, Washington. Mr. Ho has several ultrasound-related patents and has earned both his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from the University of Washington.

Bob Wang - Founder
Bob Wang is an executive with vision and proven accomplishment in founding companies that have changed medical imaging and breast care over the past 30 years. When Wang started out, mammography was deemed unsafe for screening purposes due to its high radiation levels. The high-resolution and low-dose rare-earth x-ray radiography technology developed by Wang, which was sold to 3M with a license to Kodak, allowed a 95% dose reduction to mammography and gave rise to modern mammography as we know it today.
In 1997, Wang founded U-Systems, Inc. to develop the technology behind the somo•v® system. His hard work and passion continue to a make a difference for women everywhere.
Wang received a B.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. degree from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Jiayu Chen, PhD - Vice President of Engineering
Jiayu Chen, PhD, Vice President of Engineering has over 23 years experience in a variety of senior management roles in the medical and networking industries. Prior to U-Systems, he served as a senior manager in various companies including GE Medical Systems, Ciena, ONI and Diasonics. Dr. Chen holds a Ph.D. in E.E. from the Pennsylvania State University and a M.E. from the Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.


Fred Ong - Chief Financial Officer
Fred Ong, Chief Financial Officer, brings 20 years of financial and operational experience to U-Systems. Prior to joining U-Systems, Mr. Ong was Vice President of Finance at R2 Technology, a venture backed medical device company that was successfully sold for $220 million. He was also Vice President of Finance and Operations at Mirapoint where he scaled the company from its early stage to eventual operating profits during his five-year tenure. He also held various other financial management positions and participated in mergers and acquisitions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ong worked for Coopers and Lybrand, now PricewaterhouseCoopers, as an auditor. He is a graduate of the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and is a certified public accountant.
